New Smart Basic Science and Technology is a learner-friendly and activity-based learning program aligned with the current NERDC curriculum. It strengthens pupils’ understanding of basic scientific concepts, technological processes, health and safety practices, and environmental awareness through well-structured lessons, practical activities, illustrations, and guided investigations. Supported by digital learning resources and teacher support materials, the course develops curiosity, problem-solving skills, and scientific thinking, while preparing learners for junior secondary science studies.
